THE NAME

Maize is another word for corn, which is an indigenous food to America. In Native American language the word "Mahiz" (Maize) means "that which sustains us". Maize allowed early settlers to withstand the first winter. Native Americans offered popcorn as a sign of hospitality to welcome guests. We welcome you to come and experience Maize restaurant. It will be an experience like no other.
